OCH would like to notify tenants that Canada Post is experiencing a labour disruption, effective September 25, 2025. Mail and parcels will not be delivered, and no new items will be accepted. You can find more information on Canada Post’s website.

We ask all tenants NOT to send their rent cheques and money orders by mail until further notice. Other payment options are available. Please see other available options here.

OCTOBER 22, 2025 – OTTAWA, ON – A new partnership is transforming how supportive housing is delivered in Ottawa. The BumbleBee Initiative, developed collaboratively by Ottawa Community Housing, Options Housing, Ottawa Salus, and Gignul Non-Profit Housing Corporation, unites housing and support providers to accelerate the creation of supportive housing through a coordinated and collaborative approach. The initiative is designed to expand as additional partners join. 

Join His Worship Mark Sutcliffe, Mayor of Ottawa and founding partners to officially launch this transformative collaboration. Attendees will hear from each partner about their role in bringing the BumbleBee initiative to life and have the opportunity for on-site interviews with key leaders. 

About the BumbleBee Initiative 

The BumbleBee Initiative is a collaborative partnership of housing and supportive housing organizations in Ottawa, designed to accelerate the creation of supportive housing with integrated wrap-around services. 

By combining development expertise, supportive housing programs, mental health and substance use supports, and culturally grounded housing approaches, the initiative delivers more homes faster, at greater scale, and with services that help residents thrive.

Where: Mosaïq Ottawa – 811 Gladstone Avenue (Entrance located on Gladstone Avenue)
